Town of Bradford – Part-Time Building Inspector The Town of Bradford is seeking applicants for a part-time Building Inspector. This position is responsible for conducting plan reviews, building inspections, and code/zoning enforcement. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable with the International Residential and Business Codes (IRC & IBC) and have experience in residential and commercial plan review and construction, installation of electrical and mechanical systems, and enforcement of local zoning ordinances, regulations and other enforcement matters. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, have at least five (5) years of experience in building trades or inspection services and be familiar with municipal zoning concepts or possess any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of required knowledge, skills and abilities. Position is subject to background investigation and reference checks. This is an hourly nonexempt weekday position with occasional evening and weekend hours as necessary. Valid driver’s license is required. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications.
